About us:
Ashridge farmhouse is a significant Grade 11* listed building with historic interest dating back to the 16th century. It was built in 1575 and was originally part of Windsor Forest Estate. The Farmhouse was built as a hunting lodge and was reputedly used by Elizabeth 1st. This substantial and spacious property still retains many charming and characteristic features. It is a very special house and a much loved home where guests can experience a sense of history alongside modern comforts.
Facilities
We have two elegant and spacious bedrooms each with private luxury bathrooms. If you are travelling with friends or family and are happy to share a bathroom with them, we have an extra bedroom available.
We have a guest lounge, which is always welcoming and comfortable with oak panelling to the walls and a feature open fireplace, windscreen colour television and wireless broadband, which is available for our guests to use. A door from the lounge leads into the conservatory and this is where guests can enjoy their breakfast overlooking the gardens.
We have secure private parking and we are within walking distance to Wokingham Town Centre and railway station, which has a direct route into London. We are also close to M4 and M3 Motorways, and we are convenient for Windsor, Ascot, Henley and Heathrow Airport.
Executive Double Room: Large elegantly furnished room with two king- sized beds. Ensuite bathroom comprising a large walk-in shower, roll top bath, bidet, w.c. and hand basin.
Luxury Double Room: Similar in size, style and comfort to the executive room with a king -size bed and luxury bathroom across the corridor, comprising a large walk-in shower, bidet. w.c. and hand basin.
Full cooked English breakfast. All bedrooms have colour televisions
Policies: Check in 4pm - 10pm. Check out 11am. Strictly No Smoking Throughout.
