Homeopathy
Homeopathic treatment is gentle and non-addictive and is therefore suitable for adults, babies and children, and the elderly. It is an holistic therapy therefore all aspects of a patient’s illness including mental, emotional and physical issues will be considered where appropriate.
During a consultation the needs of the patient will be assessed with particular attention given to the individual nature of the patient’s condition and how he or she experiences it. Other aspects that may be considered included hereditary factors, medical treatments, life experiences and environmental factors.
Homeopathy treats a wide range of conditions including depression, sleep disorders, grief, stress, behavioural problems, menstrual/menopausal problems, asthma, hay fever, eczema, rashes, digestive complaints, arthritis, teething problems, colic, bed wetting and many more… It can also help to reduce side effects for those taking long term or strong medication.
Homeopathy can be safely used alongside other forms of medication and treatment and I am able to work in partnership with other health professionals where required.
Allergy / food sensitivity testing
Allergy / food sensitivity testing is suitable for people who find that they are unable to tolerate foods, additives or substances in their environment. To assess sensitivities I use a Vega machine which uses a stylus to test reactions on an acupuncture point on the thumb or big toe – no need for blood tests or needles. Patients are welcome to bring along any substances suspected of causing problems.
