About us:
The physical world, the world we experience with our five primary senses is just the tip of the experiential iceberg. At a deeper level, everything is an incessant ebb and flow of invisible, vibrating, frequency-generating energy.
As an artist, I seek to explore this pervasive and boundless source of sensory stimulus by painting what I feel with an intensity that goes far beyond what I see at any given moment. It must have something to do with the fact that I was born to hardworking Irish parents just off the Kings Road Chelsea in 1958, sold my first painting while still at school (to John McIntosh OBE), studied fine art under the inspirational sculptor Mick Murtha in London and spent more than 30 years as a Creative Director and Lecturer in cities across Europe, including: London, Paris, Amsterdam, Stockholm, Milan, Dublin and Geneva.
These days I focus my passion for creativity on exploring the complex and inspiring relationships between people, places, objects, energy and, of course, myself… Mike O’Brien the Artist. If you need to know anything else, please call me.

About us:
I am a watercolour artist resident in Twyford, and I specialize in botanical paintings. A Gallery of original paintings, also prints, greetings cards and stationery items can be viewed in my studio by appointment.
I also maintain a list of buyers from all over the country, who order greetings cards by mail order. They like to buy these high quality cards at way below shop prices as they are produced by the artist which means no ‘middle men’ to inflate the prices. If you know someone who would like to receive a brochure, please forward me their postal address.
From time to time I run workshops for botanical painters, and these can be geared to the complete beginner through to the more experienced. Contact me for further details.
