About us:
Origin dance is about helping people to stay fit through the amazing medium of dance.
My experience
In a life filled with my passion for dance, performance experience, training, choreography and teaching. My experience, as you will refer to in my CV, has been rich in content.
I was trained in a traditional Ballet School in Ballet, Modern and Jazz, taking part in the festivals, shows, pantomimes, musicals and additional summer schools, I loved the smell of the grease paint and the warm glow of the coloured lights on the stage, but most of all I learned through the presence of my body in its environment that its energy had power to create.
This simple truth is where I begin to be inspired in Dance. On asking myself the question, what it is in Dance that I most enjoy? It is in my experience of Teaching that has led me to an interest in development where I found my answer. The most rewarding and inspired moments in Dance for me have come into play when originality, through chorography, technique, performance and research have evolved, The dancers in their environment and culture is truly fascinating to me and even observation of bodies moving on the street.
