Art & Craft Groups with a difference
About us:
This new Art & Craft club will be running weekly 10-12.30 and 12.30 – 15.00 hours. We will be in a large conservatory
The groups will be card making & scrapbooking getting insight to: Paper & Card stock, colouring Materials, ink pads, pens, chalks, peel off stickers, Stencils, Embossing, Embellishment, Tools & Accessories, stamps, decopage.
How to create your own cards & scrap books in themes Wedding, Birthday, Christmas, New baby and many more.
We will be in groups of ten people. Material will be given in each session to test out new skills. The sessions will be for you to take time out and yet be enriched in new skills.
A session cost £10.00 including refreshment & some new material each time. This is a wonderful way of making new friends and getting new skills.
Please call Lorna Lamport(Trained as Fashion designer in the 60s and has worked as a Counsellor in GP practice for 12 years).

Do you enjoy a good game of Scrabble?
About us:
Are you looking to learn a bit more about the game? Do you want to stop annoying friends and family with arguments over whether AARRGHH is actually a word? Do you yearn to play ZYZZYVAS across two triple-word squares?
East Berks Scrabble Club is always open to new members, and we’d love to have you along to try out one of our game nights. We have a few games of Scrabble, and coffee and biscuits and a chat. For the competitively-minded among you, we run league and knockout competitions within the club at different times of year, and we also have members who represent the club in teams in a local league or who go along to play individually at tournaments across the country.
We meet on Thursday evenings at 7:30, at St Sebastian’s Pavilion (by the Tennis and Cricket Clubs), on Nine Mile Ride in Crowthorne. There is no commitment to come every week, nor even for the whole evening (you can come later or finish earlier). Feel free to come along and see how you like it. Duplicate Contract Bridge Club
About us:
A friendly bridge club that meets every Monday and Tuesday evening from 7:20pm at the Pinewood Leisure Centre in Crowthorne. The club has been established for over 30 years and currently has over 100 members. Visitors and new members are always welcome.
There is no smoking in the bridge room, but players are free to smoke and buy drinks in the adjoining bar. All the special events in our calendar are open to all our members, so please come along and support us. We have a lively Christmas party and each autumn 40-50 members of the club stay in a hotel for two nights of competive bridge and fun!
