Quire Voices

Quire Voices

Maidenhead, Berkshire ~ Music
Chamber Choir

About us:

Quire Voices is an excellent semi-professional standard choir, giving opportunities to those experienced singers who have pursued other career directions but wish to continue singing at a high standard in an auditioned group, without having the commitment of London-based chamber choirs.

The music we sing will is from a huge variety of genres and styles, from the highbrow classical to adaptations of modern pieces. There is the opportunity to try new music in addition to archetypal arrangements.

We are a non-profit organisation, working towards becoming a registered charity.

Future events include concerts in aid of charities, competitions, tours, CD recordings and collaborations with other musicians.

If you are interested in joining us or hiring us, please contact us.

Twyford Singers is a friendly village choir with a young, enthusiastic musical director.

About us:

The repertoire is varied, from Purcell to Tippet, madrigals to musicals. We have two concerts a year, one at Christmas and the other in the summer.

Sections of the choir take part with other groups to sing at other times, particularly at Easter, and during the year some of the singers join together to entertain the residents and visitors at various local nursing and residential homes.

We all enjoy singing, have fun, work hard and aim to sing well. We also enjoy a varied programme of social activities.

Anyone who would like to join us and make new friends would be most welcome. You do not need to be able to read music and we do not hold auditions, but you should be able to sing in tune.
