St. Crispin’s Pre-school was established in 1978 and sessions are held at St. Crispin’s Sports Centre, London Road, Wokingham. We offer morning session/s, Monday to Friday during the school term.

The Pre-school is a registered charity (no. 1021301) and is run as a partnership between parents and members of staff.

As parents, you will be seeking the best quality of education and care for your pre-school child. At St. Crispin’s Pre-school, we offer all children a carefully structured programme of activities, designed to promote learning in key areas, in a safe and stimulating play environment.

Acorns Under Fives has much to offer your child. We are a parent run pre-school with a qualified and committed team of staff, situated in the grounds of Oaklands Infant School. The school was inspected by OFSTED in November 2005 and was rated “good” in all aspects of care and nursery education.

We are a community based pre-school run by an elected committee of parents.

About us:

We are a member of the Pre-school Learning Alliance and achieved Accredited Status from them in January 2005.

We provide a warm, secure and friendly environment with fun and challenging experiences in both indoor and outdoor areas.

We care for children from 2 years 9 months to 5 years through sessions from 9.00 - 11.30 and 12.45 - 3.15, Monday – Friday.

We can register your child from 6 months. We have an open door policy so you can pop in any time during term time or, if you prefer, arrange an appointment for a visit.

Happy Hours provides a warm, secure and friendly environment with challenging and stimulating experiences in both the indoor and outdoor areas, helping each child enjoy and achieve their full potential. We work in partnership with parents and carers to provide tailored and personal pre-school care.

We are a community based pre-school run by an elected committee of parents. Decision-making is in the hands of the parents in collaboration with our highly skilled members of staff and other relevant bodies. The committee is responsible for reviewing both policies and procedures and the employment of staff. Parents therefore have direct influence on the care and education that children receive, an influence that gives our pre-school its distinctive character.

We are a registered member of the Pre-School Learning Alliance and achieved Accredited status in January 2005.

A well established pre-school with over 40 years of service to the community of Twyford

About us:

Twyford and Ruscombe Pre-school was established over 40 years ago. We are a non-profit making, registered charity and are registered with Ofsted to take 24 children per session. We currently have a team of 8 staff and hold sessions at our premises in Loddon Hall, Twyford.

Children attend our pre-school from Twyford and Ruscombe and the surrounding villages of Hurst, Charvil, Sonning Wargrave, Waltham St. Lawrence and Knowl Hill.

Twyford & Ruscombe Pre-school is registered with Wokingham District Council to provide sessional day care.

We follow the Foundation Stage curriculum and believe very strongly that children of preschool age learn best through stimulating and varied play activities
