Volleyball Club

About us:

Maidenhead Volleyball Club is a friendly multinational volleyball club based in Maidenhead (Magnet Leisure Centre) catering for all standards of volleyball.

Currently we have three teams (1 Men, 1 Ladies and 1 Mixed) that play in the Berkshire League. All matches are played in Berkshire and South-East area. Both Men and Ladies won their League and Cup double in
2006/2007 season. In addition to winning the Berkshire League three years in a row, the Ladies Team has won also South-East Counties Championship for two years running (beating the County League winners from Oxfordshire, Surrey, Kent, Sussex and Hampshire).

We welcome new members, males or females whether beginners or experienced. We play on every Thursday between 8:00pm and 10:00pm at the Magnet Leisure Centre. So if you have played before and moved to the area or like to give volleyball a go why not come along. The first session is free.

Silwood Park Karate is a family-run shotokan karate club open to juniors from 4 years old and adults

About us:

We are a family-oriented club based in Bracknell, Berkshire. Our youngest members are 4 year olds, and we instill confidence, determination and discipline in all our members.

We offer a number of events to our members throughout the year, from our annual summer camps, Fittest Karateka Competition and Panto visit.

We work closely with our local community and offer karate scholarships to children who would benefit from the skills and discipline that karate builds. We also organise a number of fundraising campaigns throughout the year to raise money for local charities. Our latest venture involved raising over £5000 to build a remembrance and sensory garden for a local special needs school.

We also offer a number of other services, including displays, karate parties and self defence courses, all of which are tailored to your individual needs.

The Shuri Karate Dojo has been in existence teaching Karate in Reading, for over 11 years. At the Shuri Karate Dojo the style of karate we practice is called Shito-Ryu (pronounced she-toh ree oo), a traditional style of karate. Our Dojo does not compete in sport karate. Our function is to promote and preserve the true essence of the art of karate and preserve its Okinawan/Japanese heritage. Karate is for everyone irrespective of age, colour, size, male or female. We accept students from 8 years of age upward. We are registered with the Governing Body for Traditional Karate in the UK (TKGB), we are First Aid trained and we hold an Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Check. We are a friendly club playing at St Sebastian’s playing fields, one of the most pleasant locations there is to play cricket. Welcome to the Waltham St Lawrence Cricket Club Website.

We currently run 2 senior teams and a Sunday team. Our 1st XI play in division 1 of the Berkshire league and our 2nd XI are in the 4th Division. We also have a Sunday side and have recently begun free coaching sessions for youngsters between 13 - 18 years old.

Indoor nets are available all winter on Wednesday Evenings at the Piggott School (18:00 - 19:00)

Wokingham Netball Club’s training base is Luckley-Oakfield School. The club runs 8 teams; 4 in Bracknell, 2 in Berkshire Premier league ,1 Open South team and 1 U19 South team. Training is on a Monday 8 -10pm, Tuesday 8 -10pm for Seniors. U11 train on Tuesday 6.30pm - 8pm, U12 and U13 on a Wednesday 6.45 8.15pm and U14 -U16 on Wednesday 8.15 - 9.45pm. Beginners are welcome in all categories.
