Do you enjoy a good game of Scrabble?

About us:

Are you looking to learn a bit more about the game? Do you want to stop annoying friends and family with arguments over whether AARRGHH is actually a word? Do you yearn to play ZYZZYVAS across two triple-word squares?

East Berks Scrabble Club is always open to new members, and we’d love to have you along to try out one of our game nights. We have a few games of Scrabble, and coffee and biscuits and a chat. For the competitively-minded among you, we run league and knockout competitions within the club at different times of year, and we also have members who represent the club in teams in a local league or who go along to play individually at tournaments across the country.

We meet on Thursday evenings at 7:30, at St Sebastian’s Pavilion (by the Tennis and Cricket Clubs), on Nine Mile Ride in Crowthorne. There is no commitment to come every week, nor even for the whole evening (you can come later or finish earlier). Feel free to come along and see how you like it.
