About us:
FunTech is a computer training school for children aged between 5 and 18 years. We teach ICT at all levels from the fundamentals through to GCSE, VB.Net programming and A Level Computing.
What makes FunTech so different?
Lessons are held in state of the art classrooms using the latest technologies. They take place after school during the week and on Saturdays. Most lessons are one hour long and require completion of home missions. Each term runs for eleven weeks – broadly in line with the school calendar. Class sizes are small, and all lessons are tutor led.
Due to this mix of excellent courses, first class teaching, class sizes of 6 and 10 and modern technology – FunTech has constantly inspired children for 10 years.
The Proof
FunTech stands or falls by its achievements. Our results are simply outstanding. Over the last 10 years, no FunTech student has ever achieved lower than a grade B in the full G.C.S.E ICT. Even in A Level Computing, a very tough course indeed, 75% of students get a grade A.
FunTech also has close links with many local schools, and even the British Dyslexia Association recommends children to enrol onto our innovative touch typing courses.
