About us:

Monterey Line Dance Club is offering classes for absolute beginners with our ‘Just Line Up and Dance’ programme at the Morgan Centre, each Tuesday evening from 7pm to 8pm at a cost of £4.00 and £3.25 for under 16s and over 60s.

Our programme includes predominantly linedancing (in lines - non partner) but we can also accommodate partner dancing (in couples) & ‘Swing’ (similar to jive) all at beginner level.

Age and ability irrelevant, there is something for everyone all are welcome - and don’t think its just for the gals, we have some crackng cowboys who enjoy linedancing! The objective is to enjoy exercise in a social setting, have fun and meet new people. A one hour line dance class serves as a good work out and a barrell of laughs.

If you have two left feet, bring them along and we will sort them out!

Any questions or queries, no matter how small, give me a call and I will be delighted to fill you in.

My advice is to:

1. wear something comfortable and possibly with a top layer you can remove once warmed up.

2. Sensible footwear, a small solid heel can be beneficial but nothing over 1′ advisable. Just be comfortable and wear something with good support.

3. Bring a drink with you, but there is a kitchen with a kettle, tea and coffee if required.

4. Be prepared to have fun!
