About us:
The Shuri Karate Dojo has been in existence teaching Karate in Reading, for over 11 years. At the Shuri Karate Dojo the style of karate we practice is called Shito-Ryu (pronounced she-toh ree oo), a traditional style of karate. Our Dojo does not compete in sport karate. Our function is to promote and preserve the true essence of the art of karate and preserve its Okinawan/Japanese heritage. Karate is for everyone irrespective of age, colour, size, male or female. We accept students from 8 years of age upward. We are registered with the Governing Body for Traditional Karate in the UK (TKGB), we are First Aid trained and we hold an Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Check. Why not make that important first step on your martial arts journey with us at the Shuri Karate Dojo. We look forward to training with you in the future! Tuesdays from 6.00pm – 7.30pm
