St Andrew’s Bookshop is a Christian Bookshop offering Christian Books, CDs, DVDs, Videos & Bibles.

About us:

Christian literature has a crucial ministry. Through it, people who do not know God can be presented with the claims of Jesus Christ, and the Church can be encouraged in their walk with God, as they seek to work out their faith in the world today.

Back in 1957, St Andrew’s Bookshop began life as a small selection of Bibles and Christian books on a table in a village Chiropodist.

What’s in a book? A book can challenge and inspire. It can teach and inform. It can confront people with an invitation to know God. And it can provide a vital guide for Christians on their Spiritual journey. It was this conviction that that led these two ladies to set up their Christian bookshop in 1957.

It has grown from a table in a village Chiropodist in Great Missenden to become a major Christian Bookshop chain with 12 branches.

We are also really pleased to be working with all the main Christian Conferences and Festivals, such as New Wine, Soul Survivor, Greenbelt, Christian Resources Exhibition to name but a few.

We believe that Books Change Lives. We’re sure that the two ladies who started it all off believed that Books Change Lives. We don’t know how many people’s lives have been changed by reading Christian books that have come from our ministry, but one day we will. We know that it’s God’s grace that brings people to him and we are grateful that He uses us as a medium to convey that grace through the books we provide.
