When I stubbed my big toe recently and it bled under the nail, I did not realize it had become infected by a fungus. The therapist removed the infected part of the nail quite painlessly. I then continued treatment myself using Tea Tree Oil as an antiseptic, on the therapist’s advice, and afterwards used a proprietary product advertised on television to remove all traces of infected nail(ridges, bits of dead nail)and get rid of all the residual discolouration. Now the nail looks perfectly clean and I am sure will regrow properly in due course. I think the said proprietary product is good but would have taken far, far longer to eradicate the problem. Also, I was due to go on holiday shortly after my treatment but I had a corn on another toe which was painful when wearing a shoe and especially on walking more than a short distance. The therapist removed the corn painlessly and I was very comfortable while ‘pavement pounding’ between places of interest in Helsinki.
